DEVELOPING HUMAN CENTRED ORGANISATIONS WITH MEIKE WISE

Meike Wise was born and raised in ‘het gezellige’ Brabant, The Netherlands. As soon as she turned 18, she went backpacking around the world to chase her dreams and adventures. In Australia though, she fell in love. Not only with the country itself, but also with an Englishman she met on a cattle farm in the middle of the QLD outback. After her travels and finishing her degree at the Hotelschool The Hague, she moved to England, married this Englishman, and applied for an Australian visa. After 7 years of living in the UK, they moved to South Australia with their then-2 year old son; a new adventure had begun. After 8 years in Adelaide, they have truly settled in and even extended their family with a dog named Max.

But Meike hasn’t stopped chasing dreams and is still looking for new adventures. Throughout her career, she’s had the privilege to work for, and work with, a wide variety of different organisations, all over the world. For the past 20 years, Meike has worked towards specialising in business operations, customer & employee experience, and change & transformation programs. She is now on a mission to ‘give back’ and contribute to a kinder, more authentic world, and is using her experiences and insights to help organisations create business environments that provide their people with an exceptional human-focused, genuine experience.
